Is the romance with Magnolia a one time thing?

Its not a one time thing i think. I had 9 charisma when i met her so we ended up having hardcore sex. Twas fantastic

I'm curious about this too, she seems like a great alternative to get the Lover's Embrace perk without switching companions. I have the same problem as you. Maybe you just have to ask her in a specific time (or day even) when she's off duty, but she seems to be working all the time.

I'd been running around with Piper, but hadn't gone for the "flirt" and "romance" options, so we were "just friends", though I'd gotten her perk. Met Magnolia (who's actually Lynda Carter, how cool is that?), hooked up, and after that, talked to Piper, and got the "romance" option again (it hadn't been there any other time we'd "talked" after I passed on it the first time). A little jealousy does wonders!
