i think he likes when you help people, or do 'nice things', i accepted a quest to help a girl and it said strong liked that.

He likes killing. And the two of us killing.

Every time I kill a bunch of enemies he likes it. He says he admires me. When we attack together he says we need to do more killing because we work well together.

It's a perk you have to buy.
After you got it, i assume it works by going to sneak and pressing use on corpse. That how it used to work in previous games.

Got the perk today. It came with quite a speech from Strong.
He said it was because "super mutants not talk, super mutants kill. Human not talk, human kill. Human good super mutant, Strong and human good super mutants: not talk, kill."

Quite a ways off from being able to get cannibalism perk and it wouldn't really fit my "good guy in a bad world" thing I got going on if I'm running around eating people. I'll likely not be able to get it for a hell of a long time since my endurance is one of my lowest attributes and my level is 40+ so levels don't come very fast anymore.

So far all I've done is have Strong hate on me. I actually moved him out of Sanctuary Hills and into a settlement elsewhere because he would get pissed everytime I got into my power armor... which when I'm swapping them around and suping them up is quite often.

I know he hates me picking locks and getting in my armor. Does he hate me being in it though? Like if I get in it and then travel around doing things with him does he get more angry the whole time or just on entry?


I keep reading that he likes killing things together... but so far I've been running around going on a raider murder spree with him and he hasn't done anything but hate on me for the one safe I decided to pick. He made one remark about a good kill I got, but it was just chatter I think as there was no "like" in the top left. I've even been doing this murder rampage with him without my armor and using primarily melee weapons... its been fun but it doesn't really seem to be helping our relationship.

The locations have all been ones previously clear and I'm just going back to double check them, reloot them, and spill blood with him. Should this be improving our relationship any?

He likes killing innocent people and eating corpses. That's it.

It doesn't inform you when you do something he likes (mass murdering - not verified on canibalism). It *does,* however, inform you when you anger him, as you've noticed. This one-sided information makes him a discouraging companion. I *have* noticed that it has stopped telling me he hates me lockpicking after I got him to the 'admiration' level, but I'm not certain if that's actually stopped pissing him off.

Kill non hostile npc's, cannibalism, and minutemen quests. Do these while avoiding hacking, lockpicking, entering power armor, peaceful dialouge...etc

yeah you will have to forgo getitng lock pick rewards or useing powerarmor if you have him with you. Be couragous but dont be nice. i have him with me currently and hes not the easiest companion to have around. Although i have to say im having more fun out of my power armor as i actually have to use my stim packs now.

Don't enter power armor if he is in the same settlement/area as you. Eventually this can make him mad enough to leave I think. He gave me a speech at some point so I sent him off to a different settlement.
