How do I blow up the Castle Wall? In the Old Guns quest?

Are you talking about the rubble "wall" in the commanders room?

If so you need to go into building mode and scrap the said rubble to open up the way.

can also use spring cleaning or scrap everything mod to clear it too, But be warned it will break the mission (only for those not sideing with minuteman and just want the castle)
