Where to find Oil and Screws !

Hello anyone have some tutorial for weapon modifying i struggle alot to find oil and screws. Especially screws, also is there some way to break down the material u find into the parts they can be broken down into except when it gets done automaticly ?

Oil comes from oil cans, gas cans, and things like that. Screws I cant remember but you can mark them so when you come across stuff it puts a magnifying glass up to let you know it has the component your looking for. You can go back to settlements drop items then go to building mode and scrap the items like usual. I think thats what your asking.

You can buy junk from vendors then break that stuff down. Sometimes vendors have a 25 stack of items but its very expensive. Tracking components is part of the fun.

Go to the Diner southwest of Sanctuary and help the lady, then buy shipments of 25 screws. They weigh a bit, though.
