Anything better than "old faithful" for sneak attack weapon?

So there is this "old faithful" laser rifle that deals double damage to a target at full HP.
From what I can tell that means that the initial sneak attack will (in majority of situations anyway) deal twice the damage.

Can anyone think of a better mod to have on weapon I intended to use as primary sneak attack weapon?

To clarify — I'm asking mostly in term of possible legendary mods, not if laser rifle as such is the best possible sneak attack weapon.

Lol, I wonder if there are enemies in existence that will survive a 6-charges sneak attack crit hit from that thing if you have all rifle, sneak and crit damage perks.

I've been 1 shotting most raiders with a silenced pistol since I got the ninja perk, be sure to get it if you want to play stealthy it makes a huge difference and that paired with an old faithful should be extremely powerful.

For a sneaky-snipy-kinda build I tend to favor the "Two Shot" legendary, found for example on the Overseer's Guardian. Double damage with every shot, not just when the target is at full health.

If I'm on a vats-intensive sneak build, I might prefer "VATS Enhanced" for more bullets downrange and increased hit chance, or a "Lucky" weapon for faster critical banking and doubled critical damage.
