Why can't we construct a Street Light?
It bothers me how there are plenty of broken street lights and yet you can't repair them or make them. It would be nice to add them to the settlements

you can create a monsterous ad-hoc streetlight by building corner wall units and hanging a light from them. but it looks like crap, and is not worth it at all.

It also bothers me we can't make torches, candles, lanterns, or any other kinds of non-electric lighting. You'd thing that would be our primary source, since it's definitely the NPC's.

Agree. Thats why I've left various props up since they are literally non-replaceable. Im guessing that someone will make a mod that allows you to create things like that and many more things

I know I'm waiting for a Sanctuary restored mod that replaces pre-war Sanctuary with wasteland sanctuary so settlers don't hammer on a hole in the wall...

Yeah, can't wait till modding get's off the ground. I assume a lot of these simple blunders will be easily fixed. Simply allowing us to create the already existing props should happen pretty quickly I'd imagine.

Even add old cars or maybe just old rusted cars. I know I wanted to move some of the cars around but they only had the option to scrap them

This is a necro thread that dates back to a time before Fallout 4 had constructible streetlights in the un-modded game. I don't know what KasLD is on about. Street lights are still there. Maybe they messed up their build menus with a bad mod or something.

Sorry, I deleted my post when I realized I'm "necroposting"... Not fast enough... Nevertheless I can't build a street lamp... No mods, no DLCs...

In ghe lights tab there shpuld be street lights. U almay nit see them because of the fancy invisible building stuffs. But if u continue on that list they should be there
