Where to find heavy combat armor?

I am lvl 34 yet i haven't seen any heavy combat armor just regular.

It is very rare, you also need to go south or east to encounter stronger enemies. Also you are looking for "Sturdy Combat Armor", but the game messes up all the names with their prefixes and stuff...you might have not even noticed them.

There's sturdy and heavy versions of the combat armor. Heavy has the best protection.

But yeah it is rare, I only found 1 piece of heavy the entire time I've played. Found the full set of sturdy though. If you want you can use the console to add it to your inventory. It's the same code as normal combat armor but it's just random what it puts in your inventory so you will most likely have to add it multiple times.

No no, no console, so i should go south , well alright than i guess ill try there.

Medium doesn't even show up on spawns til level 30 I think, I was 46 before heavy started to spawn.

Yeah but i wana have it before spawn, i got a mod that now i can have 3x legendary enemy's in my game, sooo maybe one of them bad boys will have it.

The "Overseer" Armguards (legendary named items) for sale in Vault 81 use the Heavy Combat Armor model.

It's just RNG it has nothing to do with level or spawn rate. I found a regular raider in the mid south and he had every single piece of heavy combat on him and I was around lv 15.

Go to the quincy ruins its guaranteed to get the full set apart from either the left or right arm (forgot wich arm) it doesnt matter what you level is, i got it at lvl 10. Warning though it can be a difficult area with a ♥♥♥♥ ton of gunners with mostly laser weapons or combat rifles, 3 unique enemies and some traps. You also get an unique powerarmor right arm (raider powerarmor version). And an unique laser pistol so all in all a difficult place but when you clear it its very nice to loot (there is also a magaziine of guns and bullets wich increses you crit dmg by 5% with every rank). I hoped this helped you guys (and all the other guys reading this) out. Have fun exploring the commonwealth my fewllow vault dwellers :D

Thats ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I just went to quincy to find some H.Combat Armour and all I found was regular, even on tessa.

Quincy, there are at least two "named" gunners who have various heavy armor parts there one almost fully equipped and just East of the Forge's hide out on top of an over pass one Gunner Spawns with like 3-4 Heavy Armor Pieces.

once again, I've just gone down killed tessa (on my lvl 64 data she had 3 sturdy 1 heavy) and V.A.T.S.ed 6 guys, INCLUDING the guy who is supposed to be the Fat-Man abuser... name started with a b...

BTW i'm currently lvl 29.
