[SPOIL] Confidence Man Bug

Hi ! I have a really anoying bug on the "Confidence man" quest.
Travis is actually stuck in the factory where i killed bull and saved vadim from him.

I mean , the quest is completed but travis won't get back to Diamond city , he's just standing here and i can't talk to him. It's really anoying

Yeahh this whay i experience too! looking for fix here . Another Bug annoyed ne is: "Trouble Brewin" quest i got the brewer robot stuck on basement and i can't interact with it. try contact bethesda support and still waiting they to reply.

you need to talk to travis to complete the quest, he stands there until you do.

i did, he just stood there i keep pressing "E" and he wont talk what i hear is my character voice

Try killing him (he won't die, just fall down). Might reset him.

Check your quest list, see what it says you have to do for Confidence Man.

No bug, he will return to diamond city. Though he wont if you stand there gaping at him.
Just play the game and visit diamond city later and he will be there.

I did ;
1. I checked the journal, it said talk to travis but when i try to interact with him by press E, he just quit and stare at me no dialogue option, while vadim left us, this after vadim talked to travis.
2. I reloaded the game at my latest save, kill bunch of raiders at the factory, talked to vadim, then some dialogue between vadim and travis, this time i can talk with travis, got quest clear notification, travel back to diamond city with vadim while left travis behind he just stand at that room, because he not respond my action. Arrived at diamond city vadim go to his bar i checked around go to dc radio studio no travis there, quick travel back to factory and meet travis still at that room with no respond whenever i press E.

I nailed it, idk what i did, i keep reload maybe 8-10 times before scene when Vadim talk to Travis, until the conversation end, travis finally follows vadim walk outside back to DC

dude, I need help. I have the exact same problem, it's very annoying. I lost count of how many times I reloaded the game I even went 4 hrs back just get it right and it still won't work. tried console command to make travis confident but ended up having a bug on the radio. I then noticed vadim not returning to dugout inn, he walked downstairs and set off a tripwire and died. is there any way to fix this?

Had the bug. Got it to work without re-loading. Not sure what I did (I ran around a lot and retried talking to Vadim). Finally it worked talking to Vadim. Not sure if it was the angle I approached or what, or maybe because I had just talked with the kid right before, or maybe because the kid was close enough (they have a dialogue together so maybe make sure the kid is close by when you talk to Vadim. I'm just guessing, but it finally worked for me, without having to reload the game.... so keep trying.

I had the same bug, I fixed it by killing Travis, then I opened the console and click around till you get his name, not "null" or just numbers. You might have to click around all over him before you get it. Then I used the command recycleactor and Travis disappeared. I fast traveled to Diamond City, went to the radio station and he was sitting inside. He talked to me like he should after the quest was finished.

Just had this bug. Worst of all, on Survival. After about a hour of trying to fix it in different ways, I gave up and quit the game. After coming back to the game Travis works as normal. IDK what happened, but I'm not complaining. But I think I'm gonna escort him to DC just in case.

He can't die, as he is essential like virtually any NPCs with dialog. He will teleport or "arrive on time" in his home. This isn't a bug. It's never been a bug. once you save Vadim it's pretty much over. If the quest complete xp has been delivered, everything you see is irrelevant. He's 'safe' and the radio personality will change by the time you are walking around the commonwealth again.

I think there is no need to worry. What I did was go to Diamond City Radio, sat there, and waited for 24 hours and when I woke up Travis was there and talking to me normally. So you might want to try that as well.
