Glowing dots on Iron Sights, extreme light bleed.
I've upgraded a pistol with the glowing dotted iron sights. Does anybody else find the excess glow making this upgrade completely impossible to use, or is this just me?
My targets disapear in the glow, making headshots near impossible to land from a distance.

You're not using an ENB are you?

Same issue with me. It only seems to happen with the Glow Sights on 'The Deliverer', and not any other weapon with Glow Sights. I hope this gets fixed with the first round of patches

Lol yeah its because those sights are so close to each other. They do the complete opposite of what you'd expect from these kind of sights.

I've not seen that in my game yet, on the few weapons I'm using dot reticle or circle

People will have to wait on a fix from Bethesda I suppose, or more likely a modder
will fix first as was case in prior TESS engine games to date. I suggest keeping
a eye on Nexus FO 4 section.

I've not seen a fix for this listed as of yet, but I may have missed it. You might
also post same picture and info on their Forum section and maybe someone that
knows how to fix will see it and do something about it.

It is indeed specific to this gun. I have the same issue. Doesn't do it with any other weapon. The SMG glow sights bleed a little, but it is tolerable. This makes precision aiming with the Deliverer near impossible.

I've been working on a fix. It's still pretty bad but nowhere near as bad as it was before.

This just started happening to me yesterday (2015-11-28). Now it's affecting all my weapons that have Glow Sight attachment/mods.

I'm using the Lowered Weapons mod, Ammo Box Art mod, "Spent Ammo Shells" mod, Unlimited Settlement Size mod, "Indoor Crops" mod, and "Craftable Ammo at the Chemistry Station" mod. So nothing graphics or performance related, so it should have nothing to do with the mods I use, especially since this just happened. I wonder if it has anything to do with the first Bethesda/Fallout 4 patch that was released on Steam as a beta? I am using that patch currently.

I'm also running the game at 2560x1440p 60FPS. Graphics (and performance in) rendering has never been an issue until now, with the Glow Sights.

Nvidia 358.91 drivers. If upgrading to 359.00 works for someone, then I will update my drivers to that version, but I decided not to since the release notes mentioned nothing of Fallout 4 performance improvements or anything.

(If relevant for some reason: i7-5820K, 32GB DDR4 Corsair Dominator, ASUS X99 Sabertooth, EVGA GTX 980ti SC ACX 2.0.)

Someone on reddit is having the same problem, but with weapons other than The Deliverer (suppressed James Bond 007 looking pistol).

I'm using the released version not the beta, and still have the problem. (using some of the same mods as well)
Heres a mod that should fix the glow sight bloom: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2139/?
That looks like bloom option being enabled. It's one of those "I like it because it's pretty" things but only jacks most stuff up.

The Deliverer.
Yeah its only that gun that has that problem because all of my other guns with glow sights work fine but the deliverer's are too bright

I have a 970 instead of your 960 though

Same here, 970 and that is my go to gun, but I don't get that issue with it.
AbsynthMinded Dec 13, 2015 @ 12:50am
In regard to a fix, in general just remove the rear sights completely, in the dark they are relatively pointless. If you are not in VATS, less is more on that gun. But then again.. with that gun i am almost always in VATS anyways, so I find it only mildly annoying.
Polderviking Dec 16, 2015 @ 2:12pm
I'm going to assume bug for now seeing there's quite a lot of people that have this issue.
NickNolte May 24, 2016 @ 6:20pm
I have the same thing going on, with a 970, nothing to add, just another person with the issue.

Just to let you know five years in the future. It has not been fixed and Bethesda is still the pinnacle of immersive single player games... Promise :steamsalty:
