This - If you don't know what a valve is, look it up.
Not to my knowledge - It's a slow process. Unlike another location where you can drain an entire room in seconds.
You could always return when you have the trait that prevents water from giving you radburns, and explore what is beneath the surface. Or stock up on Rad-X.
yeah it empties, unsure but i think it's part of a minuteman settlement quest
Power Armour dshouldn't matter.
The valves are pretty close to the surface. Walk around the quarry on land and look for the bubbles - Then swim straight down and look for them. We're talking a few feet below the surface for all three.
Failing that, open your console and enter TGM to make yourself immortal - if just for this one mission until you find a valve so you know what you're looking for. OR get the perk that lets you breathe in water and not get any rads from being in it. It's pretty cheap.
edit: the valves, i mean, it says press E to turn, but pressing E does nothing
Did you remap your activate key? I have to ask.
