Stealth kill animations?

I know they are in the game i have seen some guy on youtube get a couple and I read an article saying they would be included. I have yet to pull on off I have stealth killed about 20 raiders with a knife and not one animation.. do i need a special perk or something?

If it works like Skyrim:
1. It has to be a human enemy
2. It has to be a one-shot kill
3. You must be really near the enemy but not touching him
4. It must be on a flat ground (not a slope)

i did this by melee bashing with a sniper rifle, so i can confirm the animations are there.

Yeah I have seen the Melee bash animations and the sandman animations but not the Stealth kill ones and i have killed prolly 30-40 Raiders with my knife

I had brass knuckles and I did a sneak attack and he just snapped the guy's neck

use a knife or similar, press the "melee attack" button and not the "attack" button. ALT on PC i think it is. it seems like the enemy has to be human, dont have any obsticles nearby, like walls and ♥♥♥♥. And you have to be able to do a kill in one attack. then animation will start. i do 3 things in this game, sneak around with a knife, sniperkill people, or put mines all over an enemys base, shoot one and just let the rest blow themself up. sneking is the way to go, i´d say

Stealth kills are awesome, sadly you gonna enjoy them only in lowbie areas.
