Replacer Mods not working for me
I must be missing something here. I've added bEnableFileSelection=1 to the [Launcher] section in Fallout4Prefs.ini in my documents\my games folder (which I know is to help with .esp files) and that works fine.

I've also replaced the line as follows sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\ to the [Archive] section in Fallout4.ini (again in my documents as above), however none of the pure replacer mods I have installed work.

Does anyone have any clue as to what I am missing. Is ArchiveInvalidation still a thing as this is the only thing I can come up with so far.

Well, so far only .esp mods work for me. I'm using the pip boy shadows mod which works fine. but any and all texture, sound or interface replacer mods just do not work :(

Was there no solution for this? I have the same problem. Something to do with the Survival update thing. Does anybody know how to solve this?

Keep "sResourceDataDirsFinal=" empty. You don't need to change it anymore, that was only for the first few updates when the game was released. Adding file paths like you did actually causes the game to load slower. You need to set "bArchiveInvalidation=1". That's the setting that allows loose files (the data folder) to override the archives, which is what replacer mods need to work. In fact, sResourceDataDirsFinal doesn't do anything unless that is enabled anyway.

Do I put that is the Fallout4.ini or the Fallout4Custom.ini?

I'm on mobile and my computer is asleep, so I looked it up. Here's a better guide that reiterates what I said.

Still not having any luck, it only wants to use Vanilla textures and meshes. It won't reference anything from the data folder...

Any mod just using Vanilla assets works, but anything that adds new ones or attempts to replace existing ones don't work. New models are simply invisible, and replacements are just Vanilla. Any idea what might be going on here?
