(SPOILERS/BUG) Virgil not spawning
The cave where virgil is supposed to be is empty, how am I supposed to progress here? I had to skip some of the main quest with a console command since the quest line got bugged at memory den (It didn't update and got stuck at the explore kelloggs mind), then I got the coarser chip and went to virgils cave but there is no one here. Does anyone know the console code for spawning him or something? With 64h in I really don't feel like starting the game again and hoping that the main mission would work this time...

Nope, searched the internet for two hours and found nothing.. Had to start a new game, this time playing as a female (The voice actor seems better) and sneaky type.. And I'll be damn sure to make a fresh save every ten minutes or so and before doing any quests..

well was saveing every 5 min when i was going through the glowing sea but when i was at virgils cave all saves were lost. i dont know what hapend .

Anyone have any luck with this? I too had a bugged Explore Kellogg's Mind quest and had to use a console command to complete the quest and also had to use a command to start The Glowing Sea quest. When I enter the cave, past the turrets there is just a quest marker where I guess Virgil is supposed to be.

I did it with console command but now he is not talking me how I can make this mission

Do these in console when inside the Cave
1. prid 0006B505
2. disable
3. enable
4. recycleactor
5. moveto player
He will start talking.

This works. Same situation as the op. This fixed the problem and spawn virgil and progress the mission.
