Where is X6-88 in institute?

So i unlock him as a companion but the institute is so big, I cant freaking find him anywhere.

Try the SRB area in the Institue. It is on the bottom floor. If not ehre try top level around the glass walkway, a couple of courers walk around it.

I ended up spawning him and following him to the retention area. Seems he hangs out there when you first unlock him.
