Dr. Sun is gone *QUEST SPOILER*

So the doctor in diamond city is gone after i did the quest where i found Dr. Crocker in the cellar. Any way to get him back? or is this Normal after the quest?

Damn, you also have this problem? I can't find him anywhere! Even slept and waited for like a week in total. I need to get my radiation fixed but don't have any Radaway :/

I have the game on PS4 and had the same issue. I did the following steps to fix it:

1.) SAVE BEFORE DOING THIS
2.) Enter Sneak-mode and attempt to be "hidden"
2.) Lockpick the entrance to Dr. Sun's house successfully while remaining hidden
3.) As soon as you enter Dr. Sun's house, imidiately leave or he will hit you with a shovel or someshit. (I messed up the first time)
4.) Once outside, if you did not get discovered, head back to Dr.Sun's shop.
5.) Wait 24 hours on the bench near Dr. Sun's shop.
6.) Enter the Surgery Room door to the left of Dr. Sun's shop (Red door with a pill on the front)
7.) Dr. Sun should be down here smoking.

I hope this helps people. Sidenote, a few dialogues happened during my "experiments" while trying to find Dr. Sun with the following NPCs.

- Collete
- Nelson's Dad (I think his name was Malcom?)

I found out where he was lol. He was in his basement. You just need a key to get in there.

So, apparently I have a different glitch. Dr. Sun is no longer in his house at night or the cellar/medical stand during the day. No sign of him.

Accidentally started a shootout in the Security building. Dr. Sun showed up and began ahooting me. Had to kill him. After reloading an old save, I tried to start a shootout in the middle of the city to get an indication of where he came from. He didn't show up. And the mystery continues...

I found that if you go into the mega surgery center celler and he isnt there, just shoot something and he appears but will be hostile, just get out of diamond city and wait 24 hours then he should be back there and able to trade

I went into his house but it was empty, so I left as you said and waited for 24 hours, went back into the cellar, he was still there but just kept saying "you should go, i'll have to clean up this mess" help plz?

He should be in the mega surgery center, I just found him there once you find him he'll leave the cellar.

For PC users you can use the following console command line to spawn doctor Sun at your current location

player.placeatme 00020b8e

Basically he gets left inside the megasurgery center where you confronted Dr Crocker.

You can find him in his house at night too.
