Alt Tab Bug

[Humpypants]

When alt tabbing, this happens quite often. I tab out, then back in, then my resolution tends to change and hud gets funky. Crosshairs end up going off.

Tried windows/borderless, but it doesn't support my resolution in that mode.

Here's what it looks like. Hoping someone has a fix for this.

Best bet is to stop alt tabbing then unfortanately.

I having the same issue. The only solution that I have found is to restart the game, unfortunately. But mine does something extra it actually restricts the mouse cursor to the area of the screen that is 'fixed' so when I hit escape I can't move my mouse all the way to the right which isn't really a problem as there is really nothing going on on that side of the screen. But when I exit the game this restriction PERSISTS as in it still thinks the whole desktop is shifted to the left and I can't put my cursor all the way to the right even though the game has completely closed. Did this happen to you too?

Honestly this is worst than Skyim's Atl+Tab bug.

My mouse becomes restricted also. To quit, I have to use the arrow keys and enter. Otherwise the cursor doesn't really go where I'm pointing it.

I put it on full screen windowed, not sure if that'll work works for me.

Happens to me, I don't know of a fix other than to shut off the game and turn it on.

I have some error in my computer where if something is fullscreen for too long, (always games, never say a 3d modeling program) it minimizes it 3 or 4 times in a row. So it's a fairly unavoidable problem for me.

I have the same issue with the hud ration being wonky but the mouse limiting thing has only happened once or twice.

Unfortunately there is no fix at the moment. I've tried everything, but it seems the only option is restarting the game. Maybe playing in fullscreen windowed is an option, but I hate doing that, and Bethesda should have a patch to fix this. Not sure if they will, seeing as they haven't patched even bigger problems. They've patched nothing at all, actually, so we'll see if they actually listen to their customers and fix the issues.

Got the same pb. really annoying. Looks like they don't want us to have a social life on fb or skype

This has happened to me multiple times, However I have managed to fix it by Alt tabbing again and waiting for a short period, And then alt tabbing back into the game, and it fixes for me sometimes but not always. GLHF

My solution is to Alt Tab back and forth until the resolution gets back to normal, but this works like 70% of the time for me. The other 30 is just that the game wont cooperate to get it right again lol.

Yeah, same here. I just keep alt+tabbing until it gets back to normal.

Seriously, I can't believe you didn't tried it before restarting the game.

-_- of course I did. It's a bug nonetheless. Most of the time, alt tabbing doesn't fix it.
