You could have put 4 in everything and walked away. Maybe even put only 3 with certain foreknowledge.

In Fallout, the actual act of picking locks does not relate to any of the attributes directly. Maybe intelligence if any, but I guess they didn't feel like they wanted to put both hacking and picking locks in the same perk tree.
I disagree. Though, I think the whole perception tree feels a bit weird. Like the random + energy resistance thrown in there?
I like they tried something new with the perks to make all stats feel more viable, but it feels so damn arbitrary that they had to give every stat 10 perks.
The rest of the arguement is just inane. There are no casual dumpstats, and usually the first 6 perks in any tree are nearly indespensible.
