Largest/Best place for a settlement?

I'm currently looking for a good place to build a large city, so i wanted to know which settlement is good for building alot?

I've hard the movie threater is good for large city, I like the co-op personally.

I recently visited Quincy, i dont actually know if you can build a settlement there, but the place is really big.

Lots of enemies though, bring power armor, and some heavy ammo rich weapons with you.

All depends on your form of "good". In the middle of the map? Out of the way? Lots of trees around the place, maybe even open field? Size?

I personally like to be detached from everything else and open. I would suggest Spectacle Island. It's right off the coast from the Castle (Also a good place to settle, just help the minutemen) It's the huge island and you can settle the whole thing!

My form of good was a huge area that i can build on, don't really care where my settlements are.

Spectacle Island looks great, it got a huge area, haven't unlocked it yet, but i probably will use that as sonn as i unlock it.

It really depends... you could technically build an entire "short" tower on the castle with the use of a settlement limit remover.

Its not a mod, its basically a series of console commands in a bat form. "bat" files just key up the console commands in a series.

I don't think you need to do any particular quests to unlock it. I unlocked it while exploring all you need to do is turn on the generator at the boat (follow the wires from the central shack) and then clear the area. Be ready though.

It should be this "mod", aka bat file. Just dl it and check what is in the bat file. I remember its like 4 console command lines only.

Sanctuary is the best place to build a large defensible town because you only have to put defenses on the bridge road and maybe some spotlights and MGs along the riverbed.
