Can you still romance on the highest level of relationship?

So, can you still romance with a companion on a highest level of bonding? I think I reach the point where it feels like you can't anymore since Piper has already given me the git something perk. But I just want to know for those who had suceed in romance. (NOTE: I did not flirt with Piper during her diaglogues.)

Note, this is may not be an answer. I flirted with Piper all the way through and saved right before our last serious conversation. Just to see, I didn't select romance. After the conversation ended, I wasn't (at least immediately) able to get back to a romance option.

Again I don't know if this is a solid NO or not, but it's at least a not at first.

I tried lockpicking some stuff, which she likes. It notified me she liked it, but I haven't gotten a romance option or anything, at least while I was trying.

I suceeded in romancing PIPER, She will from time to time attempt to engage a conversation with you. However, you need to make sure your charisma is high enough to romance with her, my charisma level was 9 to romance with her at time but it could be less. One more tihing, I do not know what happens when you fail a romance to the point if you can ever romance with her ever again, but yeah make sure your charisma level is high enough.

On a related note, can you romance more than 1 companion? I think there are two more female companions that can be romanced, and I want their perks as well.

You can romance everyone at the same time, but a couple of the companions (Cait, Curie, Hancock, Piper) don't like to see (key word is "see") you flirting around after saying you love them.

From my own experience, it seems you MAY have multiple chances to romance a companion after reaching the highest affinity level with them. I was maxed with piper, but didn't romance her. But i remember several times while i was working on my settelment i had her stationed at that she would walk by and trigger a conversation that would allow me to romance her again.

I had all companions. After one gave me the perk I changed to the next. I did not use the romance option at that time. I sent the leaving companions to Sanctuary and gave them supply lines. Now whenever I meet them they repeat their last speech and ask me to romance them. If I opt out they keep repeating this. So, yes, you can romance them whenever you feel like it after they gave you their perk.

You really don't need to romance a character to get their perk. Just 100% relationship. Romance give an experience gain bonus if you sleep near your romanced companion. Plus some romantic flavoured comments. That's all.
