Beware of chameleon armor bug

I gave my companion a chameleon armor piece and when i took it away she still goes invisible when he hides. hella annoying i dont want my girl invisible all the time and theres no way ive found to stop it.

Think that's bad, equip it yourself and look at your Pip Boy while invisible.
