Halucigen Canisters for Fred Allen, Glitched?
Has anyone else gotten the misc quest from Fred Allen in Goodneighbor where you need to retrieve a Halucigen Canister for him? I got a few for him and when i went to turn it in, the quest marker was on my workshop at my settlement and when I went to speak to Fred, he just tried to sell me things, anyone else having this problem or am i just boned for this lol.

I am stuck in the building and can't find the cans. Where are they? I keep trying to follow the quest marker but just points to the ground.

if you just keep pushing forward you will eventually get to an area where you can hop down and leave the way you came in, instead turn left i think instead of dropping down and theres a stair case, follow that down to a small room with a computer that opens a door. Hope this helps!

Maybe you accidentally sold the canisters, stored them in one of your settlements or gave them to your companion? I gave them to my companion and that was the problem!

nah i had 7 on me lol, plus i dont use companions. I ended up having to just console command the quest to complete its current objectives, after that it removed them from my inventory as well as the quest from the log.

I have the exact same problem, any way you remember the line of code to complete the quest?

You guys have stored you canister in your storege. And as those canister (I believe) are not mark as quest item, so you need to find them and give to fred. I don't think this is actually is a bug, oh, maybe a small one.

It is way too easy to accidentally drop the Hallucigen Canisters along with all junk into your crafting station. They don't come up under misc or junk, either, so you have to scroll down in the list of all items to find and retrieve them.

Im pretty sure you arent able to sell or remove quest items from your inventory, so the way I completed the quest was to use the console command "sqt" that will create a list of your current quest targets and their quest IDs. Once you find what you think is the correct ID use "completeallobjectives <QuestID>"

I dropped mine in the workbench when I went to drop off all the junk I had. They are not listed as junk or misc.

They're not quest items... furthermore, they can be automatically scrapped for steel.

Well even if you did scrap them accidentaly or what have you, its easy enough to just type "Help Halucigen 0" and find the id for the actual item if you did remove/destroy them, but if you have the bug that prevents you from furthering the quest for whatever reason just follow the instructions of my last post

what happened to me is I was building in my settlement and because it's counted as a junk item it auto scrapped all of them to use for steal. I had to use console commands to get them back
