The Silver Shroud Quest bugged

The Silver Shroud quest is stuck. I'm on the part, "Meet with Hancock as the Shroud" and I also had an ongoing quest with Hancock to confront Bobbi. I couldn't talk to Hancock before I killed Bobbi. And now I got the Bobbi killing miscellanous quest done and Hancock wanted to join with me. I refused and tried to talk to him as the Shroud. But now all he says is "I ain't heard a peep regarding that gangland-style murder I was promised. Shouldn't you be in Southie?

I was having the problem that i put a card on a body and then ate from the body. The quest says I need to put down a card, but I´m not able to do that anymore.

on topic: Sad that one of the more interesting quests in the game seems to be one of the most buggy ones. I'm stuck at the quest step where you have to kill Smiling Kate and Northy. I killed both of them and looted them clean, but it still says that I have to search their bodies for info, but there is nothing more on them and also they hadn't any letter/holotape/whatever on them.

Same issue any fix?

I'm having a similar problem, I never took Hancock as my companion and when I tried to talk to him in the Shroud costume he only wanted to talk about becoming my companion. So I accepted and he did the thing where he goes outside and tells the town he's leaving while standing on the balcony... now it permanently says "This person is busy" when I try to talk to him, and to make matters worse, the whole town is still standing below him. No one went back to their shops so I can't even sell stuff. Tried sleeping, teleporting around, nothing works.

You should be able to continue the quest nonetheless, the marker should disappear when the quest is finished.

I have no marker for the "other" part of the quest or such ... so confused :/ And i have "Save kent" as a (optional) now.

Then do just this, save Kent. There should be another marker or something in the description of the quest, not sure anymore. Else try visting the room where you met Kent the first time and listen to the Silver Shroud Radio.

I was blocked after killing AJ, i spent about 20 minutes in goodneighbor listening to the shroud's adventures, but nothing happened. I went out and killed kendra after reading that post and the quest picked up from there.

I'm having a similar problem.
I couldn't talk to him as the silver shroud because of the kill bobbi quest.
Now I've killed her and he still doesn't recognize me as the shroud when I'm wearing the clothes and hat. Instead he just offers to come with me.
I'll try having him as a companion for a minute and then dismissing him, like some people sugested.

So I had to use console method to get past the first time Hancock just kept repeating the same two lines. Which was fine, because that got me to the next phase where you have to save Kent and kill Sinjin. I was able to kill Sinjin and his henchman and save Kent, but Hancock is still bugged - and the question marker/instructions lead me back to Hancock who keeps saying the same thing over and over. Does the same console trick fix this bug as well? Is there another option?

How can you make Hancock your companion? I finished Silver shroud, and he is pleased, gives me money, then END...he never talk to me ever since

"Hancock can get stuck in a loop requesting player character to head to "southie" to confront Bobbi, any attempts to speak to him for any other quest will get this response. setting the quest stage ffgoodneighbor07 from 65 to 70 will fix this and he will complete his speech. No fix on console currently."

I got it from the Fallout 4 Wiki.

Just open the console, type "setstage ffgoodneighbor07 70" without the quotations and Hancock should go up to the Old State House balcony, finish the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ speech, and therefore allow you to recruit him as a companion and finish the Silver Shroud Quest.

I figured it out - Take Hancock as your companion. Travel to Goodneighbour and stand outside of The Third Rail. Initiate dialogue.

I did this and it finished the quest without giving me the chance to do it myself. Thats some BS
