Walk/run toggle has flipped

When I first started playing the game I was running with capsmode off. Suddenly I found myself stuck in walk mode and I now have to switch capsmode on in order to run. Anyone come across this and have any idea how to reverse it? It's not that big a deal, but I'd rather not have to switch capsmode on and off every time I play the game.

The game doesn't read the status of the caps lock (on or off) to determine if you are walking or running. If you pressed the button while the game was paused or in the pip boy it will not change your movement mode (walk/run) but your PC will still turn caps lock on or off.

Just press escape to bring up the menu and then press caps lock again.
