So, I came across a big cathedral, in between Kendall Hospital and the Collegiate Administration building. I entered, and a couple of ghouls jumped me. And then Father Gabe is under attack from the ghouls - and after I dispose of the ghouls, he attacks me!

ME! The guy that saved his butt!

Anyone know if he is permanently hostile, or if I just killed an important person?
(He has a Skull next to his name - does not that mean he is a permanent hostile Elite?)

Haha he attacked me along with the gouls, I pulled out the my laser rifle after killing the gouls with a shotgun, turned to him and said "Half Life 3 ♥♥♥♥♥!" then turned his bones to ash.

I'm pretty sure it's a walking dead reference. Gabriel the priest who'e afraid to kill zombies, and then betrays the group.

I assumed it was a easter egg of some sort too, it was an unmarked hidden area (many areas in the city section are)
