I remapped the bash key to my mouse.. so it's less of an awkward reach to do the whole smack/grenade thing.
to throw - hold the button

Bad choices Beth. Bad choices.
Personally I can play incredibly longer on a KB and mouse before my bones start to hurt, compared to a controller.
at least its not as bad as the case of consolitis dragon age 2 had..........
everyone has their preferences. howerver, i wont let it slide if anyone tries to tell me that a controller is as powerful an interface as a keyboard+mouse. you just cant compete with the level of control and speed a mouse give with a controller and the number of keybinds. although in a singleplayer casual RPG like fallout that hardly matters, you dont "need" that amount of power so people are free to do whatever is most comfortable. but it annoys me when people make claims like "i can play just as good with a controller" in games like CS:GO. no matter how good you think you are with a controller, it just isnt as robust as a keyboard and mouse. it has been proven time and time again.
not saying you claimed any of those things. just wanted to voice the opinion.
