Below Minimum Requirements?
So I picked up Fallout 4 hoping and praying that my 4 year old computer would run it, but I get the black screen and crash. I was wondering if anyone who is more tech savvy would know if there's a snowball's chance in hell I could get my PC to run Fallout 4 to at least play q, and how to do so, or just start saving for a new PC. I am well aware it is FAR below minimum requirements as is.

Try these. Supposed to help with low-end systems. I'd still probably save up for a new PC though.

You have an APU with 1.3GHz.. which is less than half of the minimum requirements. Sadly I don't think anything will fix this for you.

Alright, I'll give em a go in the morning. Thank you very much for the assistance.

I've gotten a few comments, so I'll just revisit this real quick: I was never able to get Fallout 4 to work on that computer, and wound up caving and buying a new computer that could. Sorry folks.

My old computer went out just in time and I thought I was getting a high spec Alienware and it still meets only minimal requirements in two areas.

I am just now down loading the game. I am presuming since the two specs meet the minimal I will be able to. They are just barely under the max requirements.
You can play game actually under minimun specs, but quality, fps and stability is other matter, just dont go crazy over settlement building :)

I tested my old office rig in F4 its like Dell optiplex, I3 2120, 8 GB RAM, GTX 745. It will run but not gretly, I even made test run for 4 GB later and it will run.. Nowdays office rig is updated with 230 euros and Power supply 500 w, I5 2500k, R9 290 (Used parts) but it will run better...

All you 'need' to get it to run really, is a Direct X 11 capable video card. Without that, it will refuse to start up.
