well, damage type is ballistic, though of course, irridated junk yet would be epic :P

Well I meant does the heavy weapons perk effect it, I mean sure it seems obvious but when you're thinking about spending rescorces and experience points to modify the thing you really have to ask yourself if your Heavy Weapons park helps or if the game considers it a "rifle" or something odd.

I mean the rocket launcher is heavy weight wise but I'm willing to bet the game considers it an explosive weapon but since the game doesn't tell either way I can only speculate or ask on here.
