i had to close the game out to the desktop and restart it, then the battle music didnt start agin
the music shoud stop a few seconds after that.
if you type in "help mus 0" you can search for other tracks that might be played.
Does this permanently remove the music or does it only stop the currently playing music?
Thanks Akumu, had this problem after the final battle with the Mechanist in Automotron.
Opened the console and typed "help mus 0", found 2 entries for MUSzDLC01CombatMechanist & MUSzDLC01CombatMechanistMinions. Removed both of these as was not sure which one was playing and the irritating music has stopped!!
I confirm that this is the command that stops the combat music constantly playing. I should have realized this, as I had just recently completed the Mechanist Quest!
However, I ran the "removemusic MUSzCombat" command before the previous, and nothing happened, and now, I get no combat music anywhere on any quest!
So assuming it was a Mechanist bug only, does anyone know the console command for switching on the general combat music? I looked through the wikia and can't find anything!
There are about 4 battle musics it could be.
Well I know the bug started right after finishing "The Mechanist", and when I used
removemusic MUSzDLC01CombatMechanist it stopped. But the combat music didn't stop when I previously used removemusic MUSzCombat. That's why I'm trying to find a console command to turn the combat music on again.
