How do you build the Gun Nut perk? (Trying to build turrets)

So I can build the first turret. But it's the second turret. the one right next to the first. that I'm trying to build. It adds like 5 points extra to defense. Only, I don't have the Gun Nut perk. Says I need to have 3 points in Intellect but I already have 5. So how do I get the Gun Nut perk?

Huh ???? Just scroll down the perk page when you lvl up and find "Gun nut perk" and put 3 points in it ? lol.

you have to purchase it when you level up

Oh... pfft. I thought those icons were grayed out until I fully stocked the Intellect to the highest stars. Thanks for letting me know. haha
