Public Knowledge Quest (Bugged)

Hi,

So the quest is to clear the library of the super mutants.

I went into the library, went back out and in again and they all were dead but the quest won't complete.

I've checked everywhere including the station.

Any idea on what to do?

I'm having the exact same problem, and its driving me crazy. I've cleared every inch of this library and returned the book :(

Hallo there mates, if anybody stumple into this problem. the fix is, *drumroll*

setstage 0010b654 40

Just paste into the game console, and it will change the stage to, return to daisey.
you won't miss any action or rewards doing this.

I assumed there was a way of doing this because you can in the other Fallout's, just wasn't sure what the command would be.

Same here.

Sorted out by using {sqt}, then it shows a list of current quests.
I look through quick and spot some quest named after FFGoodNeighbor.

Then I checked those by {sqo FFGoodNeighbor05} and so on,
and found Daisy's quest (Public Knowledge) is 'FFGoodNeighbor02'!

Finally! Type {setstage FFGoodNeighbor02 40} and vola!

Anyone know the answer to this without using console? Console in FO:NV disabled achievements.

console doesn't disable achievements in this. When I did this quest, I didn't realize something was supposed to happen until I finished exploring the whole place. Perhaps there's a trigger you haven't hit yet? otherwise, that console command will be helpful.

I tried the console command but it didnt tell me that the part of the quest was completed, should I just return to daisy and see what she has to say?

This quest does not complete until you go back to Goodneighbor and speak with Daisy. Simply clearing out the library and returning the book WILL NOT complete the quest. You have to go back and speak to the NPC that gave the quest - Daisy.

after using the command i spoke to daisy and it worked
