Can´t use Pip-Boy App

So I downloaded the Pip-Boy app on my ipad air. Activated the app in the options menu and went into the app: Device not found.
I tried all fixes I could find but none of them work, HELP!

Make sure that you are in an your game not just have the options screen open. I had the same problem but once I got into the game i was able to connect the app.

if restarting the game dosnt work. the pipboy app is not finding your PC after that. Try this guide yes it was made by me. but i found it being a really odd issue as other troubleshooting wasnt working for me. so i made a guide on how i fixed my issue but your problem may be differn't never the less here it is. hope it helps

I finally got mine to work, but I can't do anything with it. I can look at items, and the map, and my health, but I can't change what weapon I have equipped, can't change what I'm wearing, and can't select any of the radio stations. It says at the top view mode, so I assumed it was just for looks and no functionality? Well anyway I uninstalled the app, if I can't use it, no sense in having it I guess.

view mode on the app happens when you open up the pipboy in game and start using it that way. It does that so if your using the ingame one and somone accadentily touches your phone or you do. It does not mess up anything your doing in game. How ever if you wernt using the ingame pipboy at the same time in game while testing the app then i have no idea why it was in view mode.

That makes sense, because I think I was using the in-game pip-boy. Well for me though, unless I have a pip-boy, it's just not the same, cause I'd be wearing it as I play the game lol
