So no need to scrap the doors.
This console command very important for covenant : setownership and disable.
Sadly the only way to use Covenant with our all own choosen settlers is to side against them all.
And Piper choose to side against them too.
In my first game I don't have heart to kill them.
Spawning things in the "middle of nothingness is exactly what the build mode does...what I did was replace a door that cannot be opened by npcs to use the beds with a normal door that does not require a key. It looks exactly like the other door only no key needed.
the only one i spared was the robot because all he ever wanted to do was give people lemonade. now he hides behind the houses and if you approach he offers lemonade. ok then.
all the reddened ♥♥♥♥ is stupid so i just scrapped it including the main computer. used it as a barracks. the awning on the house near the gate is a good place to build turrets since they can repel attackers who will invariably enter through the gate. bethesda should have let us use those turrets thought or at least replace them but even if you blow them up there is an etnernally smoking stump wheere they used to be. if you dont take them down to about 20% health theyll never attck you though so unless you prefer smoking stumps on the walls might as well just leave them there. seriously though bethesda if you want to force me to feel remorse by gimping the settlement then dont make the covenant npcs so evil AND dumb.
