Where can I find Poseidon Radar Transmitter?

i just found one whilst looking around what are they used for?

For a side quest

Somewhere around Railroad HQ, you'll see a big Ship, go into it and talk to the Captain, finishing the quests will give you a unique weapon

Ok so im facing a problem with this quest, i got a bit ahead of myself and didnt pick the option when talking to the robot of where i go to find the transmitter, therefore no marker showed up on my map, so i thought i had to find it myself in a random poseidon factory. By the time i realised i screwed up, i didnt want to revert the save bc it wouldve been way too far back, and now when i talk to the same robot, i dont get any dialogue options, plus no transimtter shows up in the chest where its supposed to. Anyone know a way I can get around this and actually get the transmitter? Or am i screwed for good.

You don't talk to the robot, you put the transmitter in the engine, what about the place that I showed in my last post, did you find a transmitter there?

Every time I run the mission, my marker shows up on the radar dish on the deck of the ship, and everytime I click it, it says "this needs a radar transmitter" or whatever. I saw a walkthrough of the mission, and there is a certain dialogue path (which i accidentally did not take) with "the navigator" robot, in which he marks the place to find the transmitter (in the same place on your map you showed). But since I screwed up and cant get any more dialogue options out of him, he wont mark it on my map and even though I go to the exact facotory like the one you showed, the transmitter never spawns there.

That's exactly what happened to me, The quest only points at the ship, I ignored that quest for a long time till I found that place, I was really curious to go inside because the place name is "Posiden Energy" went there and found it there, don't remember where exactly, but it's inside

If you have a high enough intellect you can just bypass the transmitter. when i did the quest i never left the ship for any parts.
