Spawn Settler with console command?
Is that possible? There seems to be a cap that is really low for some settlements. Would be nice if you can spawn a settler.

you can use the console commands to spawn one but they won't be counted in the community's count

Just try to click a normal settler in consolemode and take his ID. you can probably copy him i guess. Try to spawn him with player.placeatme XYZ. XYZ=NPC ID.

Yah, you can do that.
But be warned, doing so is high risk if past FO games with same base engine are a indicator.
High risk in that you may well end up with corrupt saves and compounding bugs arise
that cause the game to go unstable and crash ridden.
Info is out there on how to do it. Use Google.

I'd advise against fooling with it until Toolset is out and proper methods for doing such
can be implemented without hosing game saves.
Bethesda lets us use the console but that doesn't mean every command you fool with
is without risk.
They warn you about that someplace. They don't support use of console, do so
at your own responsibility.

I've used it enough over the years with prior games to have a sense of what is high risk
and what is not.
Too lazy to type that all up.

here you go. player.placeatme 00020593 5 the number 5 at the end will place 5 settlers. You can change the number to whatever you like. If you want more than 20 settlers all you have to do is type player.setav charisma 99 but be warned because this might ruin future gameplay because you can now convince anyone, but without mods this is the only way how to. Hope this helps

If it won't let you assign them to stuff in your settlement do this: enter workshop mod and hit the button that says move (default R) and tell them to go to the settlement you are trying to stuff in. You should be able to assign them now.

Its old Thread. Im using a mod that lets me "build" NPCs now. If you have Nexus Mod Manager, you should search for it.

How can you spawn child settlers? I built a school, but ... Wish there were teachers etc... Like Skyrim, but better...

You can use the same mod as me. Or you can try to guess thier ID.

Not sure why no one has not posted this yet. you can spawn settlers in one settlement then go to workshop and use the move command to move them to another settlement. When they arrive at other settlement they can now be assigned to any task as any other settlers. So go to a settlement you don't wont them in and spawn and move them to the settlement you want them in and everythings fine.

The problem is that maximum amount of settlers in one location is limited by your charisma. You can't order people to go to maxed out location.
