Some minutesa go one citizen said that there is a bed problem. 10 Citizens and 32 beds. Lelel.

Maybie it's cause of which beds you use. I mostly use the flat ground beds but now i changed it to better beds. Maybie it's the problem, maybie not.

I'm having the same issue, but I think it's a straight up bug. I have 18 settlers and almost 70 beds of different types. Still complaining about not having enough beds to go around.

You have to assign every settler to a bed. I have done that.THEY KEEY BEING UNHAPPY ABOUT IT.

Getting rid of bed bugs is pretty simple really, you just need a nice, safe insectici- wait hold on a minute

So I took the time to put it to where I had exactly 20 beds, and then assigned each person a bed that night. It's been a couple days in game, and they haven't complained since.

I'll try that! thank you!

Beds have to have a roof over them. Apparently, I'm guessing lots of the homes in Sanctuary are considered roofless or something.

I found a fix that seems to be working. The Televisions cause this bug, goodness knows why, but removing them from the affected settlements made this and the water supply bug both go away. REMOVE ALL TELEVISIONS FROM THE SETTLEMENT, I heard the jukeboxes cause the same problem too.

I don't have any TVs, but I do have a jukebox. Guess I'll try that, although that seems like an odd trigger.

I got rid of the jukebox, and I stopped having problems. Pretty bizarre.

22 Settlers, 200 Beds because i wanted to modify my Charisma once I ran out of things to do on my save profile and they still complain about beds.

Lots of settlement quirks, but from what I understand it has no impact on anything one way or another whether they are happy or unhappy. That not mattering is the real shame because it really proves difficult to care after a certain point. And dont get me started on when 3 super mutants raid and 150 defense worth of turrets and 20 people can't take them out without me fast travelling to the settlement to shoot 3 times. Really immersion breaking and makes you wonder not only about the point of the defense rating, but how any of it really matters at all.

it's a cross between TVs and wood floors. This is a bug the community has been tracking and it seems like the two aforementioned things affect the settlers. I got rid of TVs and placed all beds onto wooden floors. I never assigned anyone to anything and happiness is still climbing, majority of my settlements are ~80
