If you join the BoS, you should be able to modify the regular combat armor and turn it into the BoS version at no cost. When I discovered it I was promoted to the rank of Knight, don't know if that is a requisite though.

Nope it has to be the plain ol' combat armor. The ones that are green and the chest piece has the military star on it. The BoS combat armor has the same design as the regular combat armor, but the color scheme is different, instead of the star it has the BoS logo, and it also provides rad protection.

Do you know where I can find a full set of this then?

Edit : Already a member of BOS, Rank "Knight" so I got the power Armor, i just want a full set of the normal armor they wear.

There is a group of Mercenaries patrolling the grounds around Parsons State Insane Asylum[vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net], they will usually have full sets of combat armor, or pieces of it. If you kill a couple you are bound to end up with an entire set or two.

Since you joined the BoS, you can actually get the combat armor from the quartermaster at the Prydwenn.

Where do I modify it? I can't find it in the Armor Workbench.
