Radio isn't working?

I've been listening to Diamond City Radio and for some reason it's now just become dead silent. The other radio stations, Classical and Freedom, are still working perfectly fine, only DCR isn't playing music. Why is this occurring?

there are parts of the map that dont get reception from DCR. its not a bug or anything

I thought that as well, but this started occurring at Red Rocket station and, when I fast traveled to Diamond City, it still occurs. It's rather aggravating.

Got the same problem here. It doesn't play anymore whatever location I'm at.

Turn the radio off then fast travel somewhere in the stations radius, then reactivate the radio. That's what I did and it worked.

tried this and DCR still isnt working but classical/minute men radio works

Are you on the quest to help Travis? The radio doesn't work because he's physically not there.

im on the quest where you have to rescue the investigator (i love to explore so i havent progressed the main story that much)

I got the same problem. Diamond City Radio not working no matter where I am. When I visit Travis he still sits there in his trailer. No quest for him or anything like that. No indicator that the outage might be story related. Probably a bug then?

i just stopped using DCR for a bit and explored and turned it back on a bit later and it works again

I've also found that turning off the radio, fast traveling somewhere, saving, restarting your game, then reactivating the radio also works. It is a much more tedious process than just waiting though.

when i first saw that comment i tried it and it didnt work so i decided to play the game and try again later

It does that sometimes, try turning the channel off/switching to another and just play for a while. Usually comes back after 10~ minutes.

I had the same thing happen in Fallout 3. If any of the other suggestions don't work, you can try loading a save from before the issue started.
