Edit - started the quest line from the start, clicked on each and every character during the quest.....still can't advance the quest line. Bugged out. Hoping someone finds a fix.
did the afk thing work?
Nope, not for me. Spent 1½ hour AFK at Amari with no success :P
I had the same problem and I managed to fix it. Shoot Amari in the head, save and reload. Shooting her in the head makes her "unstuck" so to speak.
I shanked her in the face with a sword. Nothing good came out of it.
Valentine is now nowhere to be found either c_c
1) To see where you're at on the quest, open the console and type "sqs mq202" (without parenthesis), which will show you the quest stages.
2) You can try setting it to the next stage depending on where you're bugged, but if you're at the end type "setstage mq202 320" to just finish the quest.
3) This may not load the next quest for you, but through some trial and error I found the base id for it and how to trigger it! If "The Glowing Sea" didn't appear for you after Dangerous Minds, type "setstage mq204 15" to trigger it.
4) Continue your buggy adventures!
Edited for proper quest ID for The Glowing Sea.
I however "fixed" Dr Amari after leaving the pod by bashing her in the face with a baseball bat and the immediately hostered it to stop the fight (funily, it wrote "Piper liked that" in the top left of the screen).
setstage mq205 15 starts a quest named Hunter/Hunted and not "The Glowing Sea" sadly. Hmmpfs, I am unable to find the proper quest ID for The Glowing Sea quest.
Shoot, I'm sorry! The Glowing Sea is MQ204. So the proper command is setstage mq204 15.
I found the quest ID by making educated guesses. After reloading old saves I noticed that Act 1 quests were "10x" and Act 2 quests were "20x". Dangerous Minds is MQ202, Mq203 appears to be unused, MQ204 is The Glowing Sea, and MQ205 is for the quest after that.
So if you need to activate another quest you can make educated deductions about what the quest ID might be through some trial and error depending on if the quest is in Act 1, Act 2, or elsewhere. See here for a quest list: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_4_quests
Also, if you have the quest in your log and just need to find the quest ID, you can type "sqt" to get a list of your current quests which will include the quest ID, then repeat "sqs <questid>" to show the quest stages.
Hope this helps, sorry for mixing up the quest numbers.
