How does Vertibird fast travel work?

I called it down and am sitting in it not knowing how to make it move, i wasnt looking when the tip came up so idk how.

You use it just like you use Fast Travel. Pick a location *you've been to already* and hit Fast travel to it. Not as fast as actually fast traveling but it's still fun af to shoot everything on your way there.

What faceless said, when in vertibird you need to use your pipboy to give navigation computer of vertibird locations, I have only used it twice, my aged comp can't handle the wide fov it provides, not to mention you'll attract hell of a lot attention, it's enemy magnet if the place you need to land is even remotely close to a raider base..

I saw an interesting point on another forum that a good use of the Vertibird is to travel to a location while you are heavily encumbered with your loot. Since you can't fast travel while encumbered without the 'Strong Back' perk, this might be the next best thing.

Sorry I lowkey just found this, but I like to fly to a location that's past an undiscovered quest location and then when my vertibird passes over, I just press E to land it. It's really easy to get to far away locations when you just use the vertibird.

Now you jsut need to install that time traveling mod to your vertibird to go back two years to actually take part in the conversation.

Actually, from a purely epistemological point of view, information is information. For instance Plato's Republic is one of the most insightful works on the fundamentals of classical metaphysics, and serves as a cornerstone for a lot of European philosophy, and I doubt anyone would accuse Plato of "necroposting" just because it's still being published 2300 years later.

In fact, one could argue that the truest test of good writing is for just how long it maintains relevance after being initially published. Contrary to the fleeting and often contemporary criteria of popularity and quality, influence can be in many ways empirically tested.
