Upgrading scribe fatigues?

This is a set of armoured clothing. Your 111 suit can be upgraded why cant i upgrade this? do i need much higher level of armour crafting or? Would appreciate the advice .

Anyone know? Its by far the best looking armour but i got too many legendary bits with + to attributes to just wear it if its bad :)

I know the feels man.. To me it seems like they forced a choice on us.

1. Look great, clean and professional - minimal damage reductions. (brotherhood, scribe)

2. Look hacked, rusty and random - ultra high defence. (railway)

They made some bad choices in the wearable loot and layered pieces, in my opinion.
So far the only wearable pieces I give half a turd for, are the brotherhood fatigues and field scribe armor. Neither can be layered or upgraded. ...??

A lot of the raider armor is ok, but the suits that can go underneath are waaaaaay to minimal, and to me are pretty boring.


They went crazy on the world and location detail, and cheaped out hard on the clothing side of it.. There are so many recolors, and copy/paste+rename, its not even funny.

Not to mention the ratio of generic clothes, to good looking gear, is way heavy on the clothes side.

It really upsets me that pretty much all of my favorites - cant be upgraded, and have quite low defences.


Hopefully something changes late game.. I'm up to level 29 now, and still finding the same copy pasted things as I was at level 5. The names, and stats have changed.. but not the looks.
Fairly unsatisfied with cosplay.

I hope there is a mod to add ballistic weave to scribe fatigues.

You can't mod any clothing other than a select couple.

I mean i hope someone creates a "mod" to put ballistic weave like the Railroad upgrade to clothing in them not an ingame mod.

I just use combat armor with black brotherhood clothing underneath. I'm ok at 120 ish defense so far. Looks fine too and I Still rock the assault mask.
