Interior lighting is way too bright
as the title says, some interior/underground areas are so bright and white it almost hurts my eyes to play.

some of the "white" lights they use can be so bright that they black out everything else in the area, and with no brightness options it's hard to tweak things to a better state.

You will have to wait for mods sadly bathesda are not good at lighting. There are also invisible light sources all over the place.

Thier is a mod on nexus with different light levels :) it will fix ya up if you want them darker or brighter

in my opinion they were too bright for me too so I got the less harsh version of this brighter lights mod

Ok guys. After literaly AGES trying to figure this out I'm gonna leave here what worked for me so that maybe someone in the future will use it. just type in "shp 4.0,0.02,0.02,0.65,0.2,0.3,1.5,3.6,2.0" on the console. (The only value I'm changing from default is the 6th one. Turn's out it's set WAY too high.)

What are you talking about? I adjusted my brightness. I can't remember if it is in a launcher menu (without using F4se) as opposed to the in-game menu.

EDIT: Nvm, withdrawn. I was mistaken.

There is no in-game gamma setting, if there is can you please screenshot and upload it?

I've got the perfect mod; no wait: two mods.
One which alters every cell and one to kill invisible ambient lights.

But hey - do your own research. It's not that hard. We all did it.

No issues here with an Nvidia card, an HDMI cable, an IPS monitor and standard colour setup (sRGB).

Might be worth updating the driver or finding a matching colour profile for the monitor.

Press WindowsKey+R and enter "colorcpl.exe" to open the colour management panel and to check if it's been messed up.
