Fallout 4
Console command to delete static objects?
Does anyone know a command I can use to remove static objects?
Specifically the piles of leaves and roof tiles piled on the floors inside the houses in sanctuary, everything is starting to come together nicely with a power grid and market circle but there is still dead leaves inside the houses and i want to remove them.

I have tried:
"Zap"
"Disable"
"markfordelete"

They work for items that are interactable like containers or power armor frames but not static enviroment items.

Or anyone know when the construction set / G.E.C.K Is due out? I would just make a custom mini mod getting rid of them in that area then.

Figured I would let people know this. Everything Bethesda created in Fallout 4 is combined into one giant mesh to save you performance. If you want the ability to click on anything in the game and disable or markfordelete it, all you have to do is add the "bUseCombinedObjects=0" line into your Fallout 4 ini under general.

However, because everything is tied to one mesh, whatever you disable or delete will reappear when you remove that line from your ini or change it back to 1. If anyone knows how to make it so that items you delete or disable while that command equals 0 stay permanently deleted or disabled when you make it 1, please, would you let us know? No mods of course.
You are my hero.:tobdog:
Lol I used this to cheat my way out of the Far Harbor DiMA memory puzzle.

The only tricky one was the last one, and it was just tedious not really that hard...

Yeah. I did it on my PS4. I recently got FO4 on my PC, so I thought I didn't deserve to waste another 2 hours of my life to do that last part of the puzzle.
is easy in pc, clic on console button and clic with mouse in object tipe disable in console and Enter, the pile of ashes, no reciclable thing or anithing can be deleted...
IF you are sincerely bothered by leaves in sanctuary.

This mod will let you scrap everything.

I use it all the time but save before deleting because some buildings are connected. I was able to scrap all the buildings and all the grass, leaves and if you want, roads.

I can't get rid of the power pole near the boat house. grrrrr

Edit: Thanks all! I was able to delete the wires that got in the way of my building by clicking on them and using disable.

CHEERS!!!

:sans:Thanks sooo much for helping me. My power armor frame got stuck in a door way I needed to get through for a quest and wouldn't let me enter it to remove it. Thanks a whole lot man!!!:sans:

Wow. You don't actually know what's being discussed but you *searched* for this thread and added your two cents anyway.

this post is over a year old, dumb ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ necro
If I may pop in with a note, if you are trying to Delete something that is purely graphical (such as a pile of trash that is just an image and not an object), you may not be able to be rid of it...
I just started playing Fallout 4 again...my last save was in 2016. Anyways, in one of my settlements, a giant Muilurk Queen got killed right inside one of the buildings. Thanks for the information on these pc commands! It will save me much time and heart ache in the future. I ended up scraping the whole building and building a new one. Boy, do I have a lot to learn...

Disable first, Then if the right object dissapears, markfordelete it.

If the wrong object dissapears do Enable.
Scrap Everything does exactly what it says on the tin. It does break certain optimizations in settlements that can be problematic on lower end machines, and I need to remind myself to save when scrapping so I haven't spent a half hour scrapping when I suddenly delete a road or something, but it's great for cleaning trash, trashpiles, leaves et al.
