Console command to delete static objects?
Does anyone know a command I can use to remove static objects?
Specifically the piles of leaves and roof tiles piled on the floors inside the houses in sanctuary, everything is starting to come together nicely with a power grid and market circle but there is still dead leaves inside the houses and i want to remove them.

I have tried:
"Zap"
"Disable"
"markfordelete"

They work for items that are interactable like containers or power armor frames but not static enviroment items.

Or anyone know when the construction set / G.E.C.K Is due out? I would just make a custom mini mod getting rid of them in that area then.

You can "scrap" entire houses in build mode. I don't think you can remove static clutter like leaves, floor tiles, cement/side walks, brush, etc. Maybe that's something the mod community will do.

Would be great if the drones/robots or friendly (or not so friendly) dwellers could do that stuff (clean up). Maybe they do i don't know yet. Would be great to hire or force-work a bunch of Mutants!

If you're still trying to figure it out right now you cant but you can move them below the map with
"setpos z 10"

It just says "Picked a non rev AV object" when you click on the piles, just gonna need to wait for the mod tools.

I just used the "markfordelete" console command to get rid of some movable junk. (Got in front of it, opened console, clicked on it then typed in markfordelete and hit enter. Fast traveled away then fast traveled back. It was gone.) It should work on anything. Just be sure to save before you try it in case it deletes something you don't want. However.. Sadly.. It doesn't seem to work on immovable objects, like that stupid snake poster in the Red Rocket station. :( I'll return to this post if I find anything that works.

Here's where I got my info that I used: https://www.reddit.com/r/fo4/comments/3ur7qj/tip_you_can_use_the_console_command_disable_or/

I read somewhere that most static objects are grouped together, thus preventing you from interacting with most individual static objects. The ground is mostly unselectable, as are buildings.

I believe you can manually take an object out of a group by loading that object all by itself in an .esp. I don't remember the specifics whatsoever, but it's probably too time-consuming to be feasible.

Maybe a mod will come out in the future that ungroups everything in the game. Until then, I'm not sure what you can do.

The reason you can't delete some things is because they are part of the cell structure, if you did any cell editing in skyrim you would know that the only way to move trees or others objects like grass/ bushes is to edit the cell itself, you cannot edit the cell with console commands it will just ignore you.

Update , there is multiple mods out now to delete items such as Trees , bushes , trash , leaved and other pesky stuff , here is the one I personally use to make Sanctuary look all purdy : http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3184/?

Yeah i found one, im using "Spring Cleaning" because it compliments the "place in red" cheat engine table.

Im not sure how it does it, but whatever spring cleaning does to allow you to scrap all items, the place in red cheat engine script combines with it to allow you to pick up and move originally static items, great for picking up all the lamp posts in sanctuary instead of destroying the fallen ones etc.

Open the console, click on the item, type disable.

It does not work with static piles of leaves, broken tiles and various other piles of dirt.

Figured I would let people know this. Everything Bethesda created in Fallout 4 is combined into one giant mesh to save you performance. If you want the ability to click on anything in the game and disable or markfordelete it, all you have to do is add the "bUseCombinedObjects=0" line into your Fallout 4 ini under general.

However, because everything is tied to one mesh, whatever you disable or delete will reappear when you remove that line from your ini or change it back to 1. If anyone knows how to make it so that items you delete or disable while that command equals 0 stay permanently deleted or disabled when you make it 1, please, would you let us know? No mods of course.
