Not sure if I should kill one or just spectate
Problem is, and maybe I somehow did something to mess it up, whichever I choose, the other is hostile to me after, even after thanking me. So I have to put them both down. :\
I met them again today, still couldn't talk to them. As soon as I saw them, as the previous times, they were already fighting, so I could not interact with any of them. After one has died, the other one just tells me he "doesn't want to talk right now."
This is exactly my experience too. I meet two Art's fighting just south of the Cambridge Police Station. Since i use the Power Armor Helm that makes 'active' targets glow red, i tend to get REALLY close (since hostiles and friendy alike are red). At that point i saw both names (first time seeing this).
Confused for a second, a dialogue option popped up. I could interrograte the synth, and he says 'your with the institute? this guy knows im a synth, help me take care of him or I will really be in trouble"
From there, there is a second persuasion option to get everyone to put the guns down (no one has to die here). Even if successful, they both turn on me. No matter what i do, they both turn on me. (I walked in and didnt shoot, so no chance of accidental damage). Buggy me thinks.
"Would I kill a human for threatening to kill a machine? Does it matter if the machine intended to kill and replace him, thus putting the mans family in danger?"
"If machines can look, act and sound like people should they be treated as equal to people?"
