Raider Power Armor marked as stolen

Hi, I fougth some Raiders and found a Power Armor in the corner. The first problem was, i couldn't enter the Armor. I decided to sell and store the stuff I found and left my own Power Armor at home, the Raider Power Armor was still there and finally I could take it, BUT it's marked as stolen!

How do I change it, so it's my property?

I'm also having this issue. Any time I work on it Piper and Detective Toaster dislike me.

Mine is stuck like this also. I use it to my advantage though. All of my regular power armor goes to one settlement, along with the companions who hate stealing. My power armor stuck in a stolen state goes to another settlement with companions who like stealing, so that any time I work with it its pretty much free reputation gain with them.

I found that power armor last night. Don't think it's a bug honestly.

You can't, without console commands.

You can also pickpocket the fusion core of someone wearing armor, which makes them get out - but even if they're raiders, the armor is marked as owned and thus you're stealing if you take it.

A bit more expired than stale, but i guess there's no other relevant threads out there as of now.

Raider Power Armor base always count as someone else properties.
My advice, do not use it for yourself, instead ask your companion to use it.
As for your self, use the one you found in the wilderness.
With that everyone will happy.
If your companion damage the PA, transfer all the broken part to you, ask them to get out from PA near PA station so you can repair and put back the part.
After that, asked them to enter again.

I have a bunch of stolen raider power armor sets. They are easy to obtain.

If a raider in power armor is alive and the onyl guy left, hide until you exit combat (ie go bakc to hidden.) At that point the dumbass AI will climb out of the armor. You could probbaly evne do that with some of the gunners.

I stole that from a raider attacking Hangmans Alley. Idiot was stuck in the wall, so I hid. He teleported to the alley way and exited the armor.

I found a way to take it and also be the owner. Just fast travel to a far away place, go back there, check if it is unstuck, if yes there is another problem, you can only steal it. Take an empty skeleton (It can't be a stolen one). If you have not a free skeleton, there is a place not far from there, called "Greater Mass Blood Clinic". Go there, there is another power armor in a garage nearby, take it, travel to your armor collection, emty the skeleton, go back there, take the armor components, put it on your skeleton, and go show Strong that human look like robot.

I dont use power armor and im a loner, no need for pesky companions. What happens when a battle takes place, your companion would run in front of you while you chunking a grenade, reason why i solo. I got them legendary no fall damages leg armor, so no need for power armor, plus you can use your skills better without the clunky power armor.
