Bug with the skeleton of the character (Help)
Have a bug in fallout 4 that really is annoying me. Suddenly under my characters's skin appeared a skeleton covered in blood and because of it's textures I can't normally play from the first person view. If someone knows how to fix this write here!

Can you think of anything that happened before you noticed this?

Did you use cheats? Use a new weapon? Did you die in a certain way? etc.

Can you find a save from before the problem existed?

I don't have this bug, but I've seen several people report it, so I'm kind of interested in figuring out if there's a certain trigger.

It happened after I got myself in a jam in the start of the game. I used "TGM", because I got brutally beaten, and couldn't progress. It happened after that exact moment, but I didn't really bat much of an eye to it, and entered my powerarmor, and continued playing as normal. (There's no problems inside the power armor, because the character model changes)

Now, I'm about 24 hours into the game, and it would really be a kick in the gut, if I had to replay it all again, so I'm looking for a fix. Still haven't been too lucky!

So, you're the second person that I've seen who's reported this after using god mode. That's interesting. What kind of damage where you sustaining during the fight? Were you getting shot at? Was it melee damage? Explosive?

I'm wondering if it bugs out if you were "supposed" to die a certain way, but didn't.

Try to plant a dozen mines, sit on it, quicksave and bomb yourself with a grenade, you will get blowned into pieces and hopefully the game will use the proper character model on quickload.

I have had no luck trying to blow myself up. Whatever I do, I always stay in the same character model, with no blown limbs. Not even with several mininukes

I have the same problem. I used tgm right before I was blown by one of the raider's molotov cocktails , and my limbs were already crippled and after that I have a weired red colored skeleton inside of me that obstructs my vision.

I tried to change sex as it worked in skyrim with washed out eyes, but it only reversed my character's appearance to the default version. I tried to ressurect my character but the game crashes to dektop.

If a fleshy skeleton is cliipping through your character, it is because you were attacked or otherwise encountered a game element that was supposed to kill you instantly but for whatever reason, it did not. The fleshy skeleton is the player character giblets after death.

They are an item that is equipped when certain paramaters are met.

On the PC you can remove them by opening the console with the tild key (~) and entering the command:

player.removeitem 001e22e5

What caused this for me was i was in Sagus Ironworks and i had god mode on because i don't like dieing. But i walked into the big sphere thingy that theres molten iron in and when i did that in the top left it just said added then the skeleton appeared on my character.

Also the player.removeitem 001e22e5 worked for me. Thanks Exile.
