So i have a xbox 360 controller even though the game isnt on past gen would my controller work on it would i need to get a mod im getting this game very soon and i would like to use my controller

It's an xinput controller, so yes. As far as you're computer is concerned, it's basically the same as an Xbox One controller. You don't need any mods to use it.

yes, but you can't use keyboard when you play with controller and the other way around.

Well, you can still use the "~" to enter the console commands, even while using a 360 controller...

I need to use a controller for workshop mode because the keyboard controls are broken for me in that mode so I need to switch it everytime.

The game will give you the xbone prompts for some buttons but they're not so stupid as to try and force people into a new controller.

B (the red) button...then use R1 and L1 to navigate.

I prefer play fallout 4 with keyboard mouse, and play Dirt Rally with xbox controller. Once i switch game, i need to unplug the controller usb to play fallout 4. Can anyone teach another way to use keyboard mouse without unplug my xbox controller? Thanks ya
