Help finding Fusion Cells?
I prefer energy weapons but I don't know where I can find more fusion cells beside the beginning of the BoS quest line. I found like 500 and now I have none.

I wish I knew a way to find them. I like laser weapons too, but they're never around. With the exception of the occational enemy that uses them. They're never in ammo cans, or any other containers like the other ammo types are.

Remember Concord?
Remember the dead guy with the Laser Musket?
Yeah, look at him, there should be Fusion Cells.
Oh, and they respawn every-so-often.

Fight lots of gunners, they use a fair bit of energy weapons.
Even so, though, unless you have an extremely deadly weapon and one-shot everything, it's difficult to make a profit on ammo just using lasers.

Could trade for it, I guess. If you're not using your other ammo, just trade that for energy cells.

Most weapon shops sell them, some of the general shops stock them too.

Get the perk in Luck that forces more ammo spawns. You'll collect a lot more fusion cells and other garbage ammo that you can sell for more fusion cells.

There's an early railroad quest that will net you a lot of fusion cells. In Fort Hagen there are also many synths that can be looted for fusion cells.

Other than that, build lots of water purifiers and sell the purified water they give you to the merchants in Diamond City for ammo.

Next to Malden Hospital, Slocum Joe's HQ there are a couple of low level Synths, kill them quickly to get all of their energy cells.

Check when they respawn.

Gunners and Synths, especially synths.

You can buy them at just about any weapons dealer, fusion cores too. The only thing I've seen in my first 170 hour playthrough in the unmodded vanilla game that you couldn't buy was mini nukes and, well, any nuke (grenades, mines). I'm doing my second playthrough with mods now, my favorite being the "weightless junk mod". Go to The Nexus if you want to try any mods. Half of the mods out right now are all to help the game run better on less powerfull hardware.

The best place I've found to get fusion cells is the start of the brother hood of steel questline when you go into the rocket facility. Just turn the power on and then when Paladin Danse is getting attacked just let him go crazy for a few minutes then turn the engine on and bam tons of fusion cells.
