Hello everyon.
Dunno if anyone else has done this yet, but in the General Atomics factory near Castle, there's a QA section where you have to complete specific tasks.
And i cant deal with first one. Turning off the radio wont help =(

I have this bug as well. I'm trying to find a console work around for it. I managed to identify the quest ID at least as DN050

I sorta got somewhere, I can't see what the quest stages are, but I can see that somehow stage 45 was completed early. I toyed around with setstage, and found that setting to stage 25 will give the xp that should've been given for shutting off the radio, and setting to stage 30 will then open the door to the next room. Unfortunately, the console doesn't give anything other than numbers for the stages, so I'm not sure what they're actually supposed to be.

Interestingly, I can tell that the unmarked quest name has something to do with contraband, so maybe it's about picking up the bad stuff in the room first?

A little more info here, stage 45 is the stage for "childproofing the 3rd room by removing dangerous objects". the objects were all still there in my game, though, it might be worth mentioning I was carrying a legendary machete, and my companion was carrying abraxo cleaner and an adjustable wrench, which is all 3 of the items you need to pick up in the 3rd room.

Maybe posessing those items when you try to start the test causes the wrong stage to immediatly get progress, and then block progress on the lower stages? Will test with a new character and coc.

Figured it out. Leaving the factory, at any time, whether or not you've activated the quest by going into the QA area, will set stage 45 to complete, breaking the quest.

Long story short, if you go in the factory, complete that unmarked quest before you leave, or you won't be able to complete it.

The way I fixed the bug way by using console commands to reset the quest. I don't think I'll be able to complete this unmarked quest, but at least I don't have to hear that damn voice haunting me, dungeon through dungeon!

Use:
resetquest DN050

Use : "showqueststages DN050" and manualy done stages : "player.setstage DN050 xx"

Yup, leaving the factory, even after just walking in the door and walking back out, must be bugging the quest and setting stage 45 to done. I was on my way to the Castle and just popped in to see what I would be facing later and left without fighting anything or even moving past the entry/lobby area.

Using the showqueststages DN050 it says:
Quest: DN050 - Running - Current Stage: 45
(not set) 10 [and 15,20,25,30,35, 40, 50]
(done) 45

So, is there a way to keep the quest running, change stage 45 to (not set)? Using resetquest command stops the quest and the QA program won't start speaking or open any doors, and using player.setstage DN050 xx allows you to complete each stage, but that goofy voice keeps saying "Timmy needs puneeeshed" despite finishing the other stages.

Ugh this is so aggrivating so really there is no fix's just console command tweeks to kinda skip the quest - What do you get for completing this anyways?

Don't worry about it the reward is entirely inconsequential. Given all of the frustration involved it is more of a let down then anything else. If I am recollecting correctly it is something like a few fusion cores, and some ammunition. Nowhere near the trouble involved. After all fusion cores are actually quite plentiful. You can even buy them from vendors. In other words no unique items are given as a reward.

I just made it here and it's obvious the child racks disciprin! Also, this is buggest bethesda. Fix it.

Just want to throw in here that you should use the "setstage DN050 XX"on all of the stages up to and including 40. When you go into the final room it'll either complete the mission or just pick up the abraxo and then it becomes finished allowing you to access the safe. After that use the "resetquest DN050" to shut the voices up. Move on with life. It is the best possible fix so far.

I was waiting for the dev to fix this bug for almost 2 months now but i guess using console cheats to bypass this plot is the only solution for me.
