Mods in inventory

Can i put the mods i have in my inventory to a storage or then i lose those mods from my equipment?
Because i have a lot of mods with me and the weigh me down, especially the power armor mods.

You can put the mods you're carrying around in your inventory in storage. They are old mods that have been removed due to upgrading your gear. If you wanted to use the mods on something else, you'd just take the mods out and there will be an attach option vs build when modding them.

the mods in the inventory are ones that are currently not installed on any weapon, usually these are standard ones, i tend to sell them

Yeah, you can put them in storage. The only downside is you have to grab them from storage in order to use them (doesn't work like junk unfortunately).

I also reccomend keeping the basics so you don't waste resources when pulling better mods off of weapons.
